Erasmus Mundus is a European cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education. The first phase of the programme occurred between 2004 and 2008; at present the second phase covers the period 2009-2013.
The aim of Erasmus Mundus is to enhance the quality of higher education by offering financial support to institutions through three actions:
